Hidy ho there.

Summer is quickly winding down here but there is still time for a few more hot manis. I'm still working on getting the freehand cheetah print down so I gave it another whirl, this time with neon! I absolutely love this look, it is just fun to wear.

This is China Glaze's Flip Flop Fantasy with SH Hard as nails (black) and Pure Ice (white). The pictures didn't come out too bad but IRL the color is just a bit brighter. It's not eye searing but most certainly bright.

Isn't It fun?????

Isn't it pretty with the hibiscus???

Gotta go, summer is winding down and I need to go and enjoy it!

Tristam!

Today I am wearing A England's Tristam. This polish is absolutely amazing and second to none. If I could only own one brand of nail polish it would be A England without a doubt. You might think with such quality that there would be a high price tag but you would be wrong. A England polishes, depending on the exchange rate, are usually under 10 US dollars and they are shipped free. Every color I have used can be a one coat wonder so a bottle will go a long way.

Tristam is a gorgeous denim blue with linear holographic sparkle, think of your favorite blue jeans with a little bit of pizzazz added. I usually have trouble with blues being way too bold and brashy looking on me but not Tristam. It's truly a polish that can be worn any time of the year.

Enough gushing, onto the pics

Look at the lovely holo rainbow!

No garden or flowery pics today, just a England and all their beauty. Here's a pic of my current collection of A England polishes.

Go get yourself some A England polish and have an awesome day!

Water Lily

One of the things I tend to do in the summer is spend quite a bit of time in the garden. It's so peaceful and I am always amazed by the simple beauty of flowers. Our garden takes up quite a bit of our yard and includes a koi pond in which we grow water lilies and other aquatic plants. A few years back we were visiting a friends garden who has a much bigger pond and in it I saw the most beautiful water lily ever! It's a lily that actually changes it's color, it starts off a pale pink with yellow edges and turns more of a peachy pink/coral as the days go by. Welllll I just happened to find a nail polish that is just as gorgeous, it's called Nebula and it's from an Etsy shop called Sparkles by Julie. It is the perfect color for my skin tone and it's going to be my go to polish!

First up a pic of the lily. These are in the pink phase.

Pretty huh? Don't mind the leaves they got rips in them during a recent hail storm. Now for the nails.

The pics aren't really capturing the pretty holo sparkle in the polish, it's so pretty irl.

The accent nail is another Sparkles by Julie polish called Peach Jelly Belly with some loose glitter on top.

Here's the fun bottle shot.

And here is a pic of the koi pond.

Until next time, have a good day!

Mango-Tango

I'm playing in the polish again today. The weather has been so warm and the sun was shining so beautifully the past couple of days that I just wanted some pretty summery sunny nails.

How'd I do? They sure look sunny and summery, not to mention fun, to me. Aren't the yellow square glitters awesome? It's a topcoat by Daring Digits called Mango Square.

And because I think they're fun here's a bottle shot for ya

Have a good day!

Leopard- Take 2

The first attempt at leopard nails didn't come out too bad but I knew that I could do better. There are some awesome looking ones out here in cyberspace, check out the Classic Leopard on Nail Polish Wars (it's the July 21st post)! Aren't they awesome???? She even tells you how to do it. They say practice makes perfect so using some colors in my collection I sat down to try again.

Guess what??

They did come out better! They are a bit blingier than the ones on Nail Polish Wars but hey for my second attempt not too bad.

So what ya think??

These really aren't too hard to do! While not perfect they are surely passable and a ton of fun to wear! Can't ya just see rockin this look at the holidays?!

PEDICURE ALERT   PEDICURE ALERT   PEDICURE ALERT   PEDICURE ALERT
Some people get a little weirded out by toes so I thought I'd warn ya.

Why only practice on 10 nails when ya have 20 of them?

I really like leopard print! How about you?

The first TTOTD!

My first blog post! Since this is my first post I'm going to share another first, Leopard Nails. I tend to paint my nails fairly (ok lately it's been very) often but this is my first attempt at leopard print. They are just plum fun! So here is the first TTOTD (Tammy's Tendency of the Day).

See isn't it fun!? For this mani I used Klean Color Lavenbaby as a base with Daring Digits Punch Me Purple for the glitter topper, the accent leopard nails are Pure Ice Super Star and Klean Color It Purple and Lavenbaby for the spots.

Daring Digits Punch Me Purple is where the inspiration for this mani came from. Daring Digits is an Indie polish maker and can be found  here.  Her polishes are all on sale until the end of July and so reasonably priced I couldn't pass them up!

The Klean Color It Purple is a gorgeous royal purple when all is said and done BUT it needs a topcoat to make it come to life and it bleeds like crazy when the topcaot is applied. I'm wearing it on my toes right now!

So that's it for now, thanks for reading the first ever TTOTD!
